About Us

About

Kiara Aguiar is a Dominican writer and  School Psychologist born and raised in the Bronx. She is dedicated to helping children and teens better understand their emotions. Through her books and resources, she combines psychology, mindfulness, and storytelling to create tools that support emotional growth and self-discovery. 

About My Mindful Emotions

My Mindful Emotions was created to help children understand, express, and manage big feelings in a safe and meaningful way. 

This book series and accompanying SEL tools are designed to shift the focus from behavior to emotional understanding. Through reliable stories and simple self-regulation strategies, children learn that emotions are not something to fix- but something to explore. 

Our Mission

Our Mission is to create thoughtful resources that support emotional awareness, connection, and calm home, in classroom, and in counseling spaces- so every child feels seen and supported.
